The Three Centers are the parts of our psyche: rational, emotional and somatic. The theory of the Three Centers comes from the Enneagram, which is a psychological model of personality typing. In Enneagram we name them the centers of the head, heart and body.
If the center performs its real function, it solves the problems for which it is responsible. However, for the vast majority of people, these centers do not fulfill their real function.
The real functions of the Body center are the power, energy, graunded state, spontaneity, presence in the body, the ability to enjoy.
The real functions of the Heart center are a sense of self-worth, a sense of being a good person, the ability to love ourselves and other people, a good connection with all the emotions, when we do not try to suppress or intensify emotions.
The real functions of the Head center are the inner silence, the calm mind, when there are not many thoughts, but all of them are effective, of high quality, as well as the confidence in life, in ourselves, the belief that everything will be fine in the future
Of course, it is pleasant and useful to be united with the resources of all three centers. However, the functions of these centers are mainly deviated. We can see it in our lives as the lack of some need. For example, lack of strength, love or security. And we begin to fill that gap at all costs, often making our situation worse.
This meditation works directly with the three centers, helping to restore their true functions, to unite us with our vital resources. This meditation combines several meditative techniques. They are complemented by powerful archetypal symbols. We work with the attention in the three levels: body, emotions and mind.
You need to participate actively and fully, pay attention, focus and be present. You can feel the real result of this meditation, when you are in the inner state mentioned above and you are doing all the steps.
By learning and remembering the steps over time, you can do this meditation on your own.
The steps for meditation:
