I am often asked how I can know my Enneagram type. Is it possible to decide it on my own? Now you can read about the steps by which you can decide which is your Enneatype. The main precondition to know your Enneatype is to know yourself as deeply as possible.
1 ․ Read about all Enneagram types. When reading, try not to discriminate as much as possible which type`s features you like and which ones do not. Instead, try to determine the type by seeing which type`s description corresponds best to your behavior and reactions. After reading about each type, indicate how much you fit in the range of 1-100%. For example, 20% One, 60% Two, 80% Three, 5% Four, and so on. You can read briefly about all Enneagram on the Instagram blog @enneagram_development. 2. Enneagram Test
The test is for helping you to determine your type. However it may not specify you type. That`s why you need to compare the results of the test with the other steps, mentioned here.

3. Read about the Three Centers in Enneagram. Again you can read briefly about all Enneagram on the Instagram blog @enneagram_development. To get more detailed descriptions of the types, you need to register և participate in the training.
Choose your Center based on what you read and based on the basic need of the Center.
4. Based on these three steps, as well as on your inner feelings, choose three types which are not about you and three types which are about you.
5. Consider the Wings and the Arrows of the letter three types. As you know every type takes several characteristics from its right and left side types. Arrows are the directions of stress and integration. If you are new in Enneagram, you may detect your type by your type`s wings or arrows. For example, if you can not figure out what type you are, but you notice something from Type 4, something from Type 7, something from Type 9, you may be Type 1. Since the 1st Type goes to the 4th Type in stress, to the 7th Type in integration, and has Type 2 or Type 9 as Wings.
6. As a result you should chose one-two types and start to follow yourself during the month. Follow and be concious about your behavior, reactions, emotions, thoghts, sensations, feelings and needs.
Try to answer the following questions.
- What impression do you want to make on people?
- What emotions and feelings most often arise in relationships with people?
- What are the reasons and needs behind your reactions and decisions? - When do you get stressed? - What are your most frequent behavioral strategies?
Compare the results of this observation withe the types descriptions you chose. Which one is most likely you Type?
